I have been following Andrea for years. Like definitely more than 10 years…so YEARS. The first piece I got from her was the infamous “The Silver Ratio” necklace. Which I still have and cherish. It was the first nice piece of jewelry I ever owned. I went to the studio to pick up my piece and Andrea was just so kind and rad and I admired what she was doing. Now after all of this time I have been watching her grow into this incredibly successful Jewelry maker and woman. I had been following Andrea’s work for quite a long time and knew I would have her create a custom piece for me eventually when a special moment came along. When our beloved soul cat passed away, creating a piece in her memory with Andrea was a huge part of my grieving process. Andrea is simply such a personable and lovely person. I've been captivated by Rokosz jewelry for years, so when it came time to design my wedding band, I knew that I wanted to work with her. I loved every second of it! Over the years, I've worked with Andrea to create some stunning and truly meaningful pieces of jewelry. We worked together on my very first piece of custom jewelry, a ring with a cognac shield diamond sourced from the Tucson Gem show, and the process was an absolute dream. Andrea listened to the very vague ideas I had, and understanding my own personal style, she designed a badass ring that is part of my everyday rotation.
My husband and I also worked with Andrea on our wedding set. I wanted our three rings (my engagement ring, my wedding band, and his wedding ring) to feel like one cohesive set, and Andrea knocked it out of the park. The pieces are bold and timeless, completely unique and durable for everyday wear. She was able to incorporate stones from our family in the designs, which makes them even that much more special. A year later, I still look down at our hands and cannot believe that we have, legitimately, the COOLEST wedding set of all time.
We've also worked together on two custom pendants, which are stunning. My sister in law lives in New Zealand (and I in the US), so I was hoping for a design that would express that no matter where we are in the world, we are always connected. Again, using family stones, Andrea killed it.
I've been following Andrea's work from her first sterling silver collections, and I don't think I'll ever stop adding to my Rokosz Jewelry collection! My oyster charm is such a favorite, and it definitely needs a companion around my neck one day soon. Whenever I'm ready for a new custom design, I'll be sure to work with Rokosz Jewelry again.
