CREATING YOUR OWN BESPOKE CUSTOM PIECE
Designing a custom piece is a beautiful way to combine your ideas with Andrea Rokosz’s design style and craftsmanship.
If you have a vision for your dream piece, we can work together to bring it to life.
For bespoke designs, you work one on one with Andrea, who will guide you through the entire process with her expertise.
Andrea offers a complimentary initial consultation to get an overview of your ideas and expectations and to review your inspiration, budget, and stones preferences.
The custom process

Stone Selection
After the initial consultation, a deposit is required to continue with the process.
Andrea will then hand select some stone options for you to choose from. Once you’ve chosen your perfect stone the design process begins, production time for a custom piece usually takes between 8-12 weeks, although sometimes a rush job can be accommodated…and other times things may take longer.

DESIGN
Throughout the process there is a lot of communication between Andrea and yourself to ensure the project is coming together exactly how everyone envisioned it.
You will be shown sketches and layouts, along with computer aided designs and/or molds, depending on how the piece will be fabricated.

COMPLETION
Your piece will be brought to life through a variety of both modern and ancient techniques creating a piece that holds history and becomes a future heirloom for you and your loved ones
If you have more qustions about the process, or would like to start working together feel free to reach out via the custom intake form.
let's work together
"Andrea not only has an unbelievable ability to create an impeccably designed piece of jewelry, she listens carefully to the reasons you are getting it made and is able to capture the emotions and feeling of each and every piece. It’s not only jewelry, it’s the heart and soul and story of the person it is for or the journey it represents. A talent only a true artist and someone who has spent years developing their craft can possess."

CUSTOM JEWELRY FAQ
IS CUSTOM DESIGN RIGHT FOR YOU?
Here are a few thoughts to consider before going the custom route:
Custom pieces are a true bespoke experience and therefore there is more cost involved than with ready-made pieces due to the time taken for stone sourcing, designing, creating new settings, and a piece that is tailored just to you.
Due to the nature of the custom design process, you are unable to see the final piece until it is finished.
Although previous work can be used as a reference point for custom designs because of the uniqueness of each stone we use, it isn’t possible for exact replicas to be made.
All Rokosz designs can be used as inspiration for future Rokosz pieces.
Rokosz jewelry is happy to work with your inspirations to create your dream piece but will not reproduce other designer’s work.
CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE A READY-TO-SHIP PIECE FOR ME
We are happy to recreate any of our ready-made Rokosz settings or styles you have seen using the stone of your dreams and have partnered with Misfit Diamonds and Sapphires to give you access to their stock through our website or can hand choose a selection to suit your needs from one of our trusted vendors.
Stone selection is more involved than just how a stone looks. We pride ourselves in our discerning eye, selectiveness and high standards when choosing the stones we work with for not only their beauty but their durability. Because of this we will not work with outside purchased stones.
I HAVE AN HEIRLOOM STONE, CAN YOU CREATE A NEW PIECE WITH IT?
We are happy to reuse existing heirloom stones to create a new piece for you. Heirloom stones for custom pieces are accepted on a case by case basis and not all stones may be deemed suitable for resetting. Heirloom stones must be brought into the studio for inspection prior to approval to ensure that they are in a condition that allows for them to be reset.
Please note: there is risk involved in resetting heirloom stones. We will review the risks with you once your stone(s) are approved for use.
Rokosz jewelry is not liable for any damage that may occur during the production process with an heirloom stone.
